The FabMachine is a fabrication machine that provides suggestions and guidance to a human designer. The designer uses gestures to draft their design, while the system reads the gestures and coverts them into machine code. The system would also provide guidance and suggestions to the designer.
The FabMachine is a prototype system that attempts to answer the question, ‘If fabrication machines could perceive and interpret delicate gestures or natural movements and anticipate design intentions from them, what would the resulting operations be?’
